UUKMA Kerala Pooram 2020

For the second year running Manvers Lake will be playing host to the Kerala Pooram Boat Race & Carnival organised by the Union of United Kingdom Malalyalee Associations (UUKMA), a registered charity which represents over 50,000 expatriates from the Indian state of Kerala who live in the United Kingdom.
The event will be a great spectacle with several thousand members of the Malayalee community from across the UK assembled at Manvers Lake to witness a spectacular day of “Chundan Vallam” (Snake Boat) racing, along with cultural stalls, food stalls, live music, folk dance from the various states of India.
