Angling at Manvers Waterfront Boat Club
Manvers Lake is home to a great variety of fish species, namely: roach, perch, pike, bream, tench, carp, brown trout and catfish. Coarse anglers and specimen hunters alike favour the deeper areas as ledgering is a favoured tactic for carp, tench and bream. Depths can vary between a couple of feet to twenty plus. Silver fish can be taken on maggot and corn tactics.
Day Tickets
Day tickets are available from MWBC bailiffs on the bank, the boathouse office or ticket machine in the car park.
Environment Agency Rod Licence
All anglers are reminded to carry a valid Environment Agency (EA) rod licence(s) that cover the number of rods you are using. We do have productive links with the EA and Water Bailiffs have been known to visit and carry out checks periodically.
Angling Rules
Please familiarise yourself with the MWBC Rules for Anglers before you start your session. You can access our rules here: Manvers Lake Angling Rules
